Privacy Policy

All client information and records will be kept. in a locked cabinet by Kate Weldon Holistic Therapies and will remain confidential unless required to do so by law, I will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the information you provide to me without your consent.

Consultation and client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client, unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.

I have put in place suitable physical and electronical procedures to safeguard and secure the information I collect online. I will retain your information for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires. 

I am qualified therapist and hold professional and public indemnity insurance for the services I provide. I undertake regular training to keep up to date with the latest techniques and belong to The British Association of Beauty Therapist and Cosmetologist and the Federation of Holistic Therapists which constantly keep me informed of health and safety updates.

All personal belongings will be treated with care and respect, however Kate Weldon Holistic Therapies will not be held responsible for the loss or damage to personal items during your time here.

Clients under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and some treatments can only be carried out on clients aged 18 years or over.. The  parent or guardian must give permission for the agreed treatment to be performed and will be required to be present for the duration of the treatment in the room.

I retain the right to refuse any treatment if a client is physically or verbally abusive or demonstrates inappropriate or aggressive behaviour. Such behaviour may result in a total ban from my services.

Kate Weldon Holistic Therapies provides treatments in a variety of forms but these are not a substitute for professional medical care or counselling. I will not diagnose, prescribe medication or medical treatments of any kind and will always recommend a referral to a GP or other qualified medical specialist or practitioner.

As the client, you have a duty to provide accurate and true medical and personal information, to the best of your knowledge, and to keep me up to date with details of any medication, symptoms, medical concerns or treatments you are having investigated or undergoing treatment for. 

I may refuse treatment to any client or part of the body with just and reasonable cause in order to maintain a safe treatment that will not cause harm. 

Kate Weldon Holistic Therapies reserves the right to terminate any appointment at any time if I believe that it is not safe or in the clients best interest to continue. Likewise the client has the right to refuse, modify or terminate treatment at any time, regardless of prior consent given.
